Somatic Therapy & Coaching

Healing happens in the body, not just the mind.

It’s incredibly common to spend years analyzing your past, reading all the self help books, and talking through your problems, only to feel like you’re still stuck in the same emotional patterns.

This happens because our emotional wounds, traumas, and attachment styles don’t just live in our thoughts, they are held deeply in our nervous system.

With over a decade of experience, my approach bridges the gap between deep emotional healing and forward momentum. In session we work together to help you understand how your mind and body interact, process unhealed emotions, soften the intensity of emotional triggers, and build a steadier, more resilient baseline.

What We Can Navigate Together

  • Relational Trauma & Attachment: Understanding your attachment style, healing old attachment wounds, and learning to build secure, authentic connections.

  • Modern Dating & Relationship Challenges: Navigating the complexities of the modern dating world, clarifying your relationship values, attracting compatible partners, developing healthy conflict resolution skills, healing within the context of a relationship, and healing from a breakup or divorce.

  • Triggers, Activation and Overwhelm: Working with panic, chronic worry, and physical stress. Learning to work with your nervous system to naturally deescalate intense triggers, rather than forcing your feelings away, cultivate psychological flexibility, develop resilience, and ultimately, expand your capacity to hold big emotions.

  • Emotional Processing: Safely processing grief, anger, and stored tension without becoming overwhelmed using Cognitive and Somatic interventions.

  • Self-Worth & Authentic Expression: Working through self worth issues and insecurities, cultivating solid self esteem, and working towards becoming your most authentic self.

  • Life Transitions: Finding grounding and clarity during major career, personal, or geographical shifts.

The Modalities: A Full-Spectrum Approach
Because no two nervous systems are the same, I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach. I draw from a diverse, trauma informed toolkit to meet you exactly where you are.
In our sessions, we may weave together:

  • Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy & Somatic Attachment Therapy: To gently process stored emotional tension, rebuild a felt sense of safety in the body, and repair relational wounds.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Somatic Cognitive Behavioral Therapy:
My approach is not about catching a "negative" thought and forcing a "positive" one over it. Instead of fighting your mind, we get curious: This thought feels uncomfortable, what might it want from me? What is it trying to tell me?
Often, simply by listening to our emotions, the intensity of the feeling loses its grip and the feeling becomes far less overwhelming.

With ACT, we will develop a healthier relationship with our thoughts. You will gain clarity on why your mind works the way it does, learn to use mindfulness to regulate your triggers, and start taking action that truly aligns with your core values. Through Somatic CBT, we will identify which mental patterns are helping or harming you, and then work directly with the body to rewire the limiting beliefs and behaviors that keep you from living a full, fruitful life. Ultimately, these tools are here to help you know yourself on a much deeper level and decode exactly what your emotions are asking you to do.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) / Parts Work: To explore and integrate conflicting parts of yourself (like the inner critic or the wounded child) with compassion rather than judgment.

  • Energy Healing & Spiritual Support: For clients seeking a deeper, holistic connection, incorporating subtle body work and spiritual mentoring to align mind, body, and spirit.

What the Process Looks Like:

This work moves at a pace that honors your capacity. Instead of fighting your triggers or forcing yourself to "get over" a trauma, we focus on helping your nervous system become more flexible. You'll learn how to identify your personal triggers, use gentle somatic practices to regulate yourself, and develop daily habits that keep you grounded.

The Goal:
Over time, you’ll find you can calm yourself more quickly, feel safer in your own skin, and show up more presently in your relationships. Your past experiences and current anxieties become things you can understand and navigate with confidence, rather than forces that run your life.
